This post is long overdue because I actually ordered my Missha Wonder Woman items back when the limited release first began! I wasn’t intending on doing an actual review though as this is a limited release but I was so impressed with the quality that I wanted to share my joy for Missha eyeshadows with everyone so if you’re keen to see some swatches and read some honeyed words, please continue on!
I don’t do posts on releases often but every now and then a new range comes out that I get excited for and can’t help myself! Today I wanted to share a new range from Etude House called Berry Delicious which is sure to be a hit with a lot of people, who doesn’t love strawberries?! The super gorgeous Krystal from the Kpop group f(x) is also featured in their promotional photos (and has featured in Etude House adverts before) which also gets the Kpop fan in me excited!
Today’s post is my attempt to practise a long lasting makeup look. I’m getting married in October (woot!) and to try and save money, I’ve decided to do my own makeup but before that, I want to make sure I have plenty of practise and I also want to make sure I can get a good long-lasting look down pat, one that looks fresh even after 12 hours (dreaming big, right?) I decided to do a bit of a write up so I can remember what aspects of my first attempt worked well, what needs improving and what needs to totally change. I find that I’ll look back on a FOTD that I’ve done and, whilst I was happy with it at the time, I’ll be quite a bit more critical of it in future, I think we’re all our harshest critic though right?
Many tips I read when it comes to doing makeup for a big event is to ensure that you’re happy with how it looks in multiple lighting scenarios (if that’s applicable) – basically does it look good in natural lighting, indoors and with flash photography so I’ve decided to do this today. The above photo is with indoor, cool-toned lighting and for most part, I’m pretty happy with how it looks. It’s certainly not a traditional wedding look but I’m not a traditional girl really, a dark/berry lip and shimmery eyes is my go-to look and I want that to be represented in my look for the day, it’s what I love!
Some of you may have seen my previous reviews on the Me Now Long Lasting Lipglosses and the Magical Halo versions but today I’m here to review another product from the Me Now range. I decided to pick up some of the Kiss Proof Soft Lipsticks to try in hopes that they’d be a great budget option like the lip glosses are. Well to cut to the chase – they’re just terrible! If you’d like to find out how much these failed, keep reading!
Mecca recently released Christmas sets for a lot of the brands they stocked, I tend to get pretty excited over Christmas releases because it means lots of mini sized products! This year was a little lacklustre, in my opinion, but Too Faced released a Sweetcheeks set with 3 mini Melted liquid lipsticks and 3 mini Love Flush blushes which really interested me!
